Self-consciousness

Slipped on a singlet and the tights, with 2 notes, ez-link card, house keys in the pocket.
Off i went, blazing the roads burning my knees.
My first 21km in view of Stan Chart this Sunday. Knees are feeling weird now.

Humans weren't made to fly. They RUN

Hmmm, been thinking more lately. More introspection as the year ends, as JC ends, as formal education ends, as self-education begins, as more time is granted, as more autonomy is granted... (never-exhausts, you define it)

PROM was on monday. Well truth be told, the organisation wasn't good at all. 31st SC... Oh well. Pardon my standards, but i must say things werent done pretty well. Guess i'm just a little more sensitive to these organisational stuff. Sorry if you're a councillor reading this, it's just my critique. Mr Chua, i know you'll share my sentiments. Haha.
Hmm but lucky glitzy Fullerton hotel made things slightly better.
Besides the bad organisation, i must say JC prom is so damn different from secondary school prom. Hmmm I hope grad nights in uni aren't like this too.
Prom = graduation night. Shouldn everyone be exchanging farewells and wishes, having fun with each other, relishing in moments together in school? Sadly, It seemed to me more like most people were more concerned with their looks, glamour and whatever superficial image, rather than the real meaning of graduation night - the interaction and the feelings.
Some friends and acquaintances you know could just shy away, not even say Hi. While it's not easy to examine the psyche behind that, i guess it's just this self-imposed barrier thanks to narcissistic priorities of looking fabulous and all that focus on personal image, when it was supposed to be a happy interactive occasion. Where did all the heart go?
Mmmm organisation: Ok things were done, lucky draw, prom queen/king, performances, watever. But then again where did all the heart go? Seemed to me like the SC was just doing things for the sake of doing it, without giving a sore bit of regard to the essence of each activity. There was no sense of exclusiveness in the way things were done. Everything could have just been organised in the school hall, it wouldn' be that different alright. Haha.

Lucky i had a table with lotsa fun-loving people. Haha

Pics:
Fine fine, with heels on, everyone towers over me. And this perpetually red face of mine makes me look a like a drunkard. Kumar thinks i'm drunk over pepsi. Nice one man. Haha
